PILLSBURY BISCUIT GARLIC BUTTER CHEESE BOMBS

Posted on November 8, 2024
Pillsbury Biscuit Garlic Butter Cheese Bombs are a super easy, delicious, and savory treat that combines the soft, flaky texture of biscuit dough with gooey cheese and rich garlic butter. These are perfect as an appetizer, side dish, or snack! Here’s how to make them:

Pillsbury Biscuit Garlic Butter Cheese Bombs

Ingredients:

  • 1 can of Pillsbury Biscuits (8-count, the regular size biscuits, not the jumbo ones)
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese (or cheddar, if preferred)
  • 1/4 cup melted butter
  • 2-3 cloves garlic, minced (or 1 teaspoon garlic powder)
  • 1/4 teaspoon Italian seasoning (optional, or a pinch of dried basil or oregano)
  • Salt, to taste
  • Freshly ground black pepper, to taste
  • Parsley (optional, for garnish)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C), and lightly grease a baking dish or line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Prepare the biscuits: Open the can of Pillsbury biscuits and separate the biscuits. Flatten each biscuit slightly into a round shape using your hands or a rolling pin.
  3. Add the cheese: Place a generous spoonful of shredded mozzarella cheese in the center of each biscuit. If you’d like, you can use a mix of cheeses, like mozzarella and cheddar for extra flavor.
  4. Form the bombs: Carefully fold the edges of each biscuit around the cheese, pinching them together to form a ball. Make sure the cheese is completely sealed inside.
  5. Prepare the garlic butter: In a small bowl, melt the butter in the microwave or on the stove. Add the minced garlic (or garlic powder), Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper to the melted butter. Stir well to combine.
  6. Coat the biscuit bombs: Dip each biscuit ball into the garlic butter mixture, ensuring it’s well-coated. You can use a brush or spoon to drizzle the garlic butter over the biscuits if you prefer.
  7. Bake: Arrange the cheese-filled biscuit bombs in your prepared baking dish or on the baking sheet. Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the biscuits are golden brown and cooked through.
  8. Serve: Once baked, remove from the oven and brush with any leftover garlic butter if desired. Garnish with fresh parsley or a sprinkle of Parmesan cheese for an extra touch.
  9. Enjoy: Serve warm and enjoy the cheesy, garlicky, buttery goodness!

Tips:

  • Add-ins: You can add cooked bacon bits, pepperoni, or even a bit of cooked spinach to the inside of the biscuit before sealing it for an extra twist.
  • Cheese variety: Feel free to use different cheeses like sharp cheddar, Monterey Jack, or even cream cheese for a creamy interior.
  • Dipping sauce: Pair these with marinara sauce or ranch dressing for an added dipping option.

These garlic butter cheese bombs are super easy to make and so irresistible—perfect for family gatherings, game day, or just as a cozy snack. Enjoy!
