Chicken thighs are a juicy, flavorful cut of meat, and they’re incredibly versatile for cooking! Whether you want a simple roasted chicken thigh recipe or something a bit more creative, here’s a delicious and easy recipe for Oven-Baked Crispy Chicken Thighs:

Oven-Baked Crispy Chicken Thighs

Ingredients:

  • 6 bone-in, skin-on chicken thighs
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp dried thyme (or rosemary)
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley (optional, for garnish)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C). Place a rack in the upper third of the oven for extra crispiness.
  2. Prepare the chicken thighs: Pat the chicken thighs dry with paper towels. This is key to getting a crispy skin! Drizzle olive oil over the thighs and rub it in evenly.
  3. Season: In a small bowl, mix the paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, dried thyme, salt, and pepper. Sprinkle the seasoning mixture evenly over the chicken thighs, making sure to cover all sides.
  4. Bake: Place the chicken thighs on a baking sheet, skin-side up. Bake in the preheated oven for about 35-45 minutes, or until the skin is crispy and the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C). If you want extra crispy skin, you can broil the chicken for an additional 2-3 minutes at the end.
  5. Rest and Serve: Let the chicken thighs rest for 5 minutes before serving. Garnish with fresh parsley if you’d like.

These Oven-Baked Crispy Chicken Thighs are juicy on the inside with a golden, crispy skin on the outside. They pair beautifully with roasted vegetables, mashed potatoes, or a simple salad.
