Garlic Parmesan Cheeseburger Bombs

Posted on February 16, 2025

Garlic Parmesan Cheeseburger Bombs are a fun and delicious twist on classic cheeseburgers! They’re loaded with ground beef, cheese, and savory garlic Parmesan flavor, all wrapped in soft, fluffy dough. Here’s how to make them:

Ingredients:

For the cheeseburger filling:

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese (or American cheese)
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce (optional)

For the dough:

  • 1 can (13.8 oz) refrigerated pizza dough (or you can use biscuit dough)

For the garlic Parmesan topping:

  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
  • 2-3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley (optional, for garnish)

Instructions:

1. Cook the Beef:

  • In a skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned and fully cooked, about 7-8 minutes.
  • Drain any excess fat, and then add the garlic powder, onion powder, salt, pepper, and Worcestershire sauce (if using). Stir to combine.
  • Once the beef is seasoned, remove from heat and allow it to cool slightly.
  • Stir in the shredded cheddar cheese while the beef is still warm so it melts and mixes in.

2. Prepare the Dough:

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Roll out the pizza dough on a floured surface into a rectangle or a large circle.
  • Cut the dough into small squares (about 3-4 inches each).

3. Assemble the Cheeseburger Bombs:

  • Take a small spoonful of the beef mixture (about 1-2 tbsp) and place it in the center of each dough square.
  • Carefully fold the edges of the dough over the beef to form a ball, pinching the dough together to seal the filling inside.
  • Place each bomb seam-side down on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper or a silicone baking mat.

4. Prepare the Garlic Parmesan Topping:

  • In a small bowl, mix the melted butter, minced garlic, and grated Parmesan cheese.
  • Brush the garlic Parmesan mixture generously over the tops of each cheeseburger bomb.

5. Bake:

  • Bake the bombs in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the dough is golden brown and cooked through.
  • The cheese inside should be melted, and the garlic Parmesan topping should be crispy and fragrant.

6. Serve:

  • Remove the cheeseburger bombs from the oven and let them cool for a minute or two.
  • Optional: Garnish with a little fresh parsley and serve with dipping sauces like ketchup, mustard, or ranch.

Tips:

  • Customize the filling: You can add other toppings like pickles, bacon, or sautéed onions to the ground beef mixture for a unique twist.
  • Make them mini: For bite-sized bombs, cut the dough into smaller squares and use less filling.
  • Make ahead: You can prepare the cheeseburger bombs in advance, assemble them, and store them in the fridge. Just bake them when you’re ready to serve.

These Garlic Parmesan Cheeseburger Bombs are the perfect appetizer, game day snack, or a fun twist on the classic cheeseburger. Enjoy! 🍔🧀
