BANG BANG SALMON BITES

Here’s a mouthwatering recipe for Bang Bang Salmon Bites — crispy, tender salmon chunks tossed in a spicy, creamy, sweet chili sauce. These are great as an appetizer, main dish, or taco filling!


🐟 Bang Bang Salmon Bites

Ingredients:

For the Salmon:

  • 1 lb skinless salmon fillet, cut into 1-inch cubes

  • 2 tbsp cornstarch (or all-purpose flour)

  • 1 tsp garlic powder

  • Salt & pepper to taste

  • 1–2 tbsp olive oil (or for air frying: spray oil)

For the Bang Bang Sauce:

  • ⅓ cup mayonnaise

  • 2 tbsp sweet chili sauce

  • 1–2 tsp sriracha (adjust to your heat level)

  • 1 tsp honey or maple syrup (optional for a little extra sweetness)

  • 1 tsp lime juice (optional, for a tangy kick)

Optional Garnish:

  • Chopped green onions

  • Toasted sesame seeds

  • Lime wedges


🔥 Instructions:

  1. Prep the Salmon:

    • Pat the salmon cubes dry with paper towels.

    • In a bowl, toss salmon with cornstarch, garlic powder, salt, and pepper until evenly coated.

  2. Cook the Salmon:

    • Pan-fry: Heat olive oil in a nonstick skillet over medium-high heat. Add salmon in a single layer and cook for 2–3 minutes per side until golden and crispy.

    • Air fryer: Spray salmon lightly with oil and air fry at 400°F (200°C) for 7–10 minutes, shaking halfway.

    • Oven: Bake at 425°F (220°C) for 12–15 minutes, or until cooked through and slightly crisp.

  3. Make the Bang Bang Sauce:

    • In a small bowl, whisk together mayo, sweet chili sauce, sriracha, honey, and lime juice until smooth.

  4. Toss & Serve:

    • Toss warm salmon bites in the sauce or drizzle the sauce over the top.

    • Garnish with green onions, sesame seeds, or extra sriracha.


💡 Serving Ideas:

  • Over white rice or coconut rice

  • In lettuce wraps or tacos

  • On skewers as party bites

  • With a crunchy slaw for texture contrast
