Key Lime Pie Jars

Key Lime Pie Jars are a refreshing, no-bake dessert served in individual jars—perfect for parties, picnics, or just treating yourself to something sweet and tangy. They have all the creamy, zesty flavor of classic key lime pie, with a fun and portable twist.


🥧 Key Lime Pie Jars (No-Bake)

Ingredients (Makes about 6 small jars):

Graham Cracker Crust:

  • 1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs (about 10 crackers)

  • 1/4 cup melted butter

  • 2 tbsp sugar (optional)

Key Lime Filling:

  • 1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk

  • 1/2 cup key lime juice (fresh or bottled)

  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened

  • Zest of 1 lime

  • 1 tsp vanilla extract (optional)

Topping:

  • 1 cup whipped cream or whipped topping

  • Extra lime zest or slices for garnish


🧁 Instructions:

  1. Make the crust:

    • In a bowl, mix graham cracker crumbs, melted butter, and sugar.

    • Spoon about 2 tablespoons into the bottom of each jar and press down lightly.

  2. Make the filling:

    • In a mixing bowl, beat the cream cheese until smooth.

    • Add sweetened condensed milk, key lime juice, lime zest, and vanilla. Mix until silky and fully combined.

  3. Assemble:

    • Spoon or pipe the key lime filling over the crust in each jar.

    • Top with a generous dollop of whipped cream.

  4. Chill:

    • Refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or until set. Best served cold!

  5. Garnish and serve:

    • Just before serving, garnish with lime zest, a wedge, or crushed graham crackers.


🍈 Tips & Variations:

  • No key limes? Use regular lime juice or bottled Nellie & Joe’s Key Lime Juice.

  • Add a layer of fruit compote (like strawberries or blueberries) for contrast.

  • Use mini mason jars, dessert cups, or even plastic containers with lids for grab-and-go options.
