Absolutely! 🧈🍪 These 3-Ingredient Butter Cookies are incredibly simple, melt-in-your-mouth delicious, and perfect for any occasion — especially when you want fresh-baked cookies without the fuss. No eggs, no baking soda, no problem!


🍪 3-Ingredient Butter Cookies

📝 Ingredients (Makes ~24 small cookies):

  • 1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter, softened

  • ½ cup powdered sugar

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour


👨‍🍳 Instructions:

1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

2. Cream the butter & sugar:

  • In a large mixing bowl, beat softened butter and powdered sugar until light and fluffy (about 2–3 minutes).

3. Add the flour:

  • Gradually mix in flour until a soft dough forms.

  • Dough may be slightly crumbly at first — keep mixing until it comes together.

  • Optional: Chill the dough for 15–20 minutes if it’s too soft to handle.

4. Shape the cookies:

  • Roll dough into 1-inch balls or scoop with a small cookie scoop.

  • Place on prepared baking sheet about 1 inch apart.

  • Flatten gently with a fork or the bottom of a glass (dip in sugar to prevent sticking).

5. Bake:

  • Bake for 12–15 minutes, or until edges are just turning golden.

  • Let cool on the pan for 5 minutes before transferring to a rack.


🍫 Optional Add-Ins:

  • Dip in melted chocolate and add sprinkles.

  • Mix in a splash of vanilla, almond extract, or lemon zest.

  • Press a cherry, jam, or chocolate chunk into the center before baking.


🧊 Storage:

  • Store in an airtight container for up to 1 week.

  • Freeze dough or baked cookies for up to 2 months.
