Fried Strawberry Cheesecake Sandwiches

Posted on August 6, 2025
Fried Strawberry Cheesecake Sandwiches are a decadent dessert that combines the rich creaminess of cheesecake, the sweetness of strawberries, and the crispy indulgence of fried bread. Here’s how to make them:

🍓 Fried Strawberry Cheesecake Sandwiches Recipe

Ingredients:

For the filling:

  • 8 oz (225g) cream cheese, softened

  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar

  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract

  • 1/2 cup diced fresh strawberries (or strawberry jam for a shortcut)

For the sandwich:

  • 8 slices of white bread (crusts removed)

  • 2 eggs

  • 1/4 cup milk

  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon (optional)

  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar (for dusting)

  • Butter or oil for frying

Instructions:

  1. Make the Filling:

    • In a bowl, mix cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla until smooth.

    • Gently fold in the strawberries (or use strawberry jam if you prefer a smoother texture).

  2. Assemble the Sandwiches:

    • Flatten the bread slices slightly with a rolling pin.

    • Spread a generous spoonful of cheesecake filling on one slice of bread.

    • Top with another slice to make a sandwich. Press the edges to seal (you can use a fork or slightly dampen the edges with water to help seal).

  3. Prepare for Frying:

    • In a shallow bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, and cinnamon.

    • Dip each sandwich into the egg mixture, coating both sides.

  4. Fry:

    • Heat butter or oil in a pan over medium heat.

    • Fry each sandwich for 2–3 minutes per side or until golden brown and crispy.

  5. Finish:

    • Remove from pan and drain on paper towels.

    • While still warm, toss or sprinkle with granulated sugar (or a cinnamon-sugar mix for extra flavor).

  6. Serve:

    • Serve warm with a dusting of powdered sugar, a drizzle of chocolate or strawberry sauce, or a scoop of ice cream.

🍴 Tips:

  • Want an extra gooey inside? Add a bit of strawberry jam in addition to the fresh berries.

  • Try using brioche or challah bread for an even richer texture.

  • You can also air-fry or bake them if you prefer a lighter version.

Let me know if you’d like a version with Nutella or a different fruit filling!
