Layz man peach cobbler

Posted on September 15, 2025

You got it — here’s a classic Lazy Man Peach Cobbler recipe. It’s the ultimate no-fuss dessert: dump, bake, and enjoy! 🍑

🥣 Lazy Man Peach Cobbler (Dump Cake Style)

🍽️ Servings: 6-8 | 🕒 Prep: 5 mins | Bake: 45-50 mins

🧾 Ingredients:

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour

  • 1 cup granulated sugar

  • 2 tsp baking powder

  • Pinch of salt

  • 1 cup milk

  • 1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, melted

  • 1 can (15 oz) sliced peaches in heavy syrup (do not drain)

  • Optional: 1/2 tsp cinnamon or nutmeg

  • Optional: Vanilla ice cream or whipped cream for serving

🥄 Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).

  2. Melt butter and pour it into the bottom of a 9×9 or 9×13-inch baking dish.

  3. In a bowl, whisk together:

    • Flour

    • Sugar

    • Baking powder

    • Salt

    • Milk

  4. Pour batter evenly over the melted butter — do not stir.

  5. Spoon peaches and syrup over the batter — again, do not stir. The batter will rise up around the fruit as it bakes.

  6. Optional: Sprinkle with cinnamon or nutmeg on top.

  7. Bake for 45–50 minutes, or until golden brown and bubbly.

  8. Let cool slightly before serving. Serve warm with ice cream if desired.

🔄 Variations:

  • Use fresh or frozen peaches (about 2 cups), adding 1/4 cup sugar and 2 tbsp water if they’re not in syrup.

  • Swap peaches for cherries, blueberries, or apples.
