Pineapple Condensed Milk Cake

Posted on November 2, 2023

A Pineapple Condensed Milk Cake is a delightful dessert that’s easy to make and offers a tropical twist. Here’s a simple recipe for you:

Ingredients:

For the Cake:

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 can (14 ounces) sweetened condensed milk
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup canned crushed pineapple, drained
  • 3 large eggs
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

For the Pineapple Glaze:

  • 1/2 cup canned crushed pineapple, drained
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9×9-inch baking pan.
  2. In a medium-sized bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, baking powder, and baking soda. Set this dry ingredient mixture aside.
  3. In a separate large bowl, cream together the softened butter and sweetened condensed milk until it’s smooth and well combined.
  4. Add the eggs to the butter and condensed milk mixture, one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined. Don’t overmix, as it can make the cake dense.
  6. Gently fold in the drained crushed pineapple into the cake batter.
  7. Pour the cake batter into the prepared baking pan and spread it evenly.
  8. Bake in the preheated oven for approximately 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick or cake tester inserted into the center comes out clean and the cake is golden brown.
  9. While the cake is baking, you can prepare the pineapple glaze. In a small saucepan, combine the drained crushed pineapple and granulated sugar. Cook over low heat, stirring, until the sugar is dissolved and the mixture thickens slightly, about 5-7 minutes. Remove from heat and let it cool.
  10. Once the cake is done, remove it from the oven and let it cool in the pan for about 10 minutes. Then, using a toothpick or a fork, poke holes all over the cake.
  11. Pour the pineapple glaze over the warm cake, making sure it seeps into the holes. Allow the cake to cool completely.
  12. Once the cake has cooled, you can slice and serve it. It’s perfect for a sweet and tropical treat.

Enjoy your Pineapple Condensed Milk Cake, which is sure to be a crowd-pleaser with its sweet and fruity flavors!
