Here’s a simple recipe for 4-ingredient orange chicken:Ingredients:

  • 1 lb (about 450g) boneless, skinless chicken breasts or thighs, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 1/2 cup orange marmalade
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons rice vinegar
  • Optional: sesame seeds and sliced green onions for garnish

Instructions:

  1. In a small mixing bowl, whisk together the orange marmalade, soy sauce, and rice vinegar until well combined. This will be your sauce.
  2. Heat a tablespoon of oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
  3. Add the bite-sized chicken pieces to the skillet and cook until they are browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes.
  4. Once the chicken is cooked, reduce the heat to medium and pour the prepared sauce over the chicken in the skillet.
  5. Stir the chicken and sauce together until the chicken pieces are evenly coated.
  6. Let the chicken simmer in the sauce for a few minutes, allowing the flavors to meld together and the sauce to thicken slightly.
  7. Once the sauce has thickened to your desired consistency, remove the skillet from the heat.
  8. Serve the orange chicken hot, garnished with sesame seeds and sliced green onions if desired.
