Garlic parmesan roasted shrimp

Posted on April 29, 2024
Garlic parmesan roasted shrimp is a simple and flavorful dish that’s perfect as an appetizer or main course. Here’s a recipe to make it:Ingredients:

  • 1 pound (about 450g) large shrimp, peeled and deveined, tails on or off
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Lemon wedges, for serving

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the peeled and deveined shrimp with olive oil, minced garlic, grated Parmesan cheese, chopped fresh parsley, lemon juice, salt, and pepper. Toss until the shrimp are evenly coated in the mixture.
  3. Arrange the seasoned shrimp in a single layer on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper or aluminum foil.
  4. Roast the shrimp in the preheated oven for 8-10 minutes, or until they are pink and cooked through. Be careful not to overcook, as shrimp can become tough and rubbery if cooked for too long.
  5. Once cooked, remove the shrimp from the oven and transfer them to a serving platter.
  6. Serve the garlic parmesan roasted shrimp hot, garnished with additional chopped parsley and lemon wedges on the side for squeezing.
  7. Enjoy your flavorful and delicious roasted shrimp as an appetizer or main course!

You can also customize this dish by adding extra ingredients such as red pepper flakes for heat, or by serving the shrimp over pasta or rice for a complete meal.
