Ingredients:

  • 1 1/2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup almond flour
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/4 teaspoon dried rosemary (optional)
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Prepare the Dough: In a mixing bowl, combine the shredded cheddar cheese, almond flour, softened butter, garlic powder, onion powder, dried oregano, dried rosemary (if using), salt, and black pepper. Mix well until a dough forms.
  3. Chill the Dough: Wrap the dough in plastic wrap and refrigerate for about 15-30 minutes. Chilling helps the dough firm up and makes it easier to handle.
  4. Roll Out the Dough: Place the chilled dough between two sheets of parchment paper. Roll it out to your desired thickness. Thinner crackers will be crispier.
  5. Cut into Shapes: Use a knife or cookie cutter to cut the rolled-out dough into your preferred cracker shapes. Traditional square or rectangular shapes work well.
  6. Transfer to Baking Sheet: Carefully transfer the cut crackers to a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Make sure to leave some space between each cracker.
  7. Bake: Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are golden brown. Keep an eye on them to prevent burning.
  8. Cool: Allow the crackers to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes. They will continue to firm up as they cool.
  9. Serve: Once completely cooled, store the keto baked cheese crackers in an airtight container. Enjoy them on their own or with your favorite low-carb dips.
