Posted on June 26, 2024
This delicious meal combines juicy steak bites, crispy garlic bread, and a tangy horseradish cream for a mouthwatering experience.

Ingredients:

  • For the Steak Bites:
    • 1 lb steak (such as sirloin, ribeye, or tenderloin), cut into bite-sized pieces
    • 2 tablespoons olive oil
    • 3 cloves garlic, minced
    • 1 tablespoon butter
    • Salt and pepper, to taste
    • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
  • For the Garlic Bread:
    • 1 loaf of French bread or baguette
    • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
    • 4 cloves garlic, minced
    • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
    • Salt, to taste
  • For the Tangy Horseradish Cream:
    • 1/2 cup sour cream
    • 2 tablespoons prepared horseradish
    • 1 tablespoon mayonnaise
    • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
    • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
    • Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Tangy Horseradish Cream:
    • In a small bowl, combine the sour cream, prepared horseradish, mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, and lemon juice.
    • Mix well and season with salt and pepper to taste.
    • Cover and refrigerate until ready to serve.
  2. Prepare the Garlic Bread:
    • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
    • Cut the loaf of bread in half lengthwise.
    • In a small bowl, mix the softened butter, minced garlic, chopped parsley, and a pinch of salt.
    • Spread the garlic butter mixture evenly over the cut sides of the bread.
    • Place the bread on a baking sheet, cut side up, and bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the bread is golden and crispy.
    • Slice the garlic bread into pieces and set aside.
  3. Cook the Steak Bites:
    • Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
    • Add the steak bites in a single layer, making sure not to overcrowd the pan. You may need to cook them in batches.
    • Season the steak bites with salt and pepper.
    • Cook the steak bites for 2-3 minutes per side, or until they reach your desired level of doneness.
    • During the last minute of cooking, add the minced garlic and butter to the skillet, stirring to coat the steak bites.
    • Remove the steak bites from the skillet and place them on a serving platter.
    • Garnish with chopped parsley.
  4. Serve:
    • Serve the juicy steak bites with the garlic bread and a side of tangy horseradish cream.

Tips:

  • Steak Doneness: Adjust the cooking time for the steak bites based on your preferred level of doneness. Use a meat thermometer if needed (130°F for medium-rare, 140°F for medium).
  • Horseradish Cream: Adjust the amount of horseradish to your taste preference. Add more for a stronger kick or less for a milder flavor.
  • Garlic Bread: For extra cheesy garlic bread, sprinkle some shredded mozzarella or Parmesan cheese on top before baking.

Enjoy your juicy steak bites with garlic bread and tangy horseradish cream for a satisfying and flavorful meal!
