- 1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar (optional)
- 2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese (optional)
- 2 cloves garlic, minced (optional)
Instructions:
- Preheat the Oven:
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Prepare the Brussels Sprouts:
- Trim the ends of the Brussels sprouts and remove any yellow or damaged outer leaves.
- Cut the Brussels sprouts in half lengthwise for even roasting.

- In a large bowl, toss the Brussels sprouts with olive oil, salt, and pepper.
- If using, add the minced garlic and toss to coat evenly.
- Roast the Brussels Sprouts:
- Spread the Brussels sprouts in a single layer on a baking sheet, cut side down.
- Roast in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the Brussels sprouts are golden brown and crispy on the edges. Shake the pan halfway through the cooking time to ensure even roasting.

- If desired, drizzle the roasted Brussels sprouts with balsamic vinegar and sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese.
- Serve immediately while hot and crispy.
Tips:
- Crispy Sprouts: For extra crispy Brussels sprouts, make sure they are spread out in a single layer on the baking sheet without overcrowding.
- Flavor Variations: Experiment with different seasonings like smoked paprika, lemon zest, or a dash of soy sauce for added flavor.
- Add-ins: Include other vegetables like carrots or sweet potatoes for a mixed roasted vegetable dish.
Enjoy your perfectly roasted Brussels sprouts!
