Air Fryer Honey Garlic Steak Sweet Pepper Bites
Ingredients:
- 1 lb steak (sirloin, flank, or ribeye), cut into bite-sized cubes
- 1 red bell pepper, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 1 yellow bell pepper, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce (or tamari for gluten-free)
- 1 teaspoon balsamic vinegar (optional, for extra depth of flavor)
- 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
- Salt to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions:
-
Prepare the marinade: In a small bowl, whisk together the olive oil, honey, minced garlic, soy sauce, balsamic vinegar (if using), black pepper, and a pinch of salt. Set aside.
-
Marinate the steak: Place the steak cubes in a resealable bag or bowl and pour the marinade over them. Toss the steak cubes in the marinade to coat evenly. Let it sit for 10-15 minutes to marinate (or longer if you have time).
-
Preheat the air fryer: Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
-
Prepare the peppers: While the steak is marinating, prepare the bell peppers. Cut them into bite-sized pieces that are similar in size to the steak cubes.
-
Assemble the bites: After marinating, thread the steak cubes and bell pepper pieces onto skewers, alternating between the steak and peppers. If you’re using an air fryer basket, you can also just toss them in the basket without skewers.
-
Cook in the air fryer: Place the skewers or steak and pepper bites in the air fryer basket. Air fry at 375°F for 8-10 minutes, shaking halfway through, until the steak is cooked to your preferred level of doneness and the peppers are tender.
-
Serve: Remove from the air fryer and garnish with fresh chopped parsley. Serve immediately with your favorite dipping sauce, such as a creamy ranch or extra honey garlic sauce.
These Air Fryer Honey Garlic Steak Sweet Pepper Bites are packed with flavor and the air fryer makes them so quick and easy to prepare. Enjoy!
