Here’s a delicious recipe for Bacon-Wrapped Chicken Alfredo Tacos that combines savory flavors in a fun way!

Ingredients:

  • 2 large chicken breasts
  • 8 slices of bacon
  • 1 cup Alfredo sauce (store-bought or homemade)
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 4 small flour or corn tortillas
  • 1 cup shredded lettuce
  • 1/2 cup diced tomatoes
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or mozzarella)
  • Optional: fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Prepare the Chicken: Season the chicken breasts with garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  3. Wrap in Bacon: Wrap each chicken breast with 4 slices of bacon, making sure to cover as much of the chicken as possible. Place them seam side down on the prepared baking sheet.
  4. Bake: Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through (internal temperature of 165°F) and the bacon is crispy.
  5. Add Alfredo Sauce: Remove the chicken from the oven and let it rest for a few minutes. Slice the chicken into strips and drizzle with Alfredo sauce.
  6. Assemble Tacos: Warm the tortillas in a skillet or microwave. Fill each tortilla with the bacon-wrapped chicken, then top with shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, and shredded cheese.
  7. Serve: Garnish with fresh parsley if desired. Serve warm and enjoy!

Tips:

  • You can add other toppings like avocado, sour cream, or jalapeños for extra flavor.
  • For a lighter version, consider using turkey bacon and a reduced-fat Alfredo sauce.
