Classic baked potatoes coming right up! 🥔 Here’s an easy way to get fluffy, perfectly baked potatoes every time.


🥔 Easy Baked Potatoes

Servings: 4
Prep Time: 5 minutes
Cook Time: 60–75 minutes
Difficulty: Easy


Ingredients:

  • 4 large russet potatoes

  • Olive oil

  • Salt (kosher or sea salt works best)

  • Optional toppings: butter, sour cream, shredded cheese, chives, bacon bits, etc.


Instructions:

  1. Preheat Oven:
    Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).

  2. Prep Potatoes:
    Wash and dry potatoes well. Prick each potato several times with a fork to allow steam to escape.

  3. Oil & Salt:
    Rub each potato all over with a little olive oil, then sprinkle generously with salt. This helps make the skin crispy and flavorful.

  4. Bake:
    Place potatoes directly on the oven rack or on a baking sheet. Bake for about 60–75 minutes until the skins are crisp and a fork or skewer slides in easily.

  5. Serve:
    Cut a slit down the middle, fluff the insides with a fork, and add your favorite toppings.


Tips:

  • For faster baking, microwave potatoes for 5–7 minutes before finishing in the oven.

  • Russet potatoes work best for fluffy interiors and crispy skins.

  • To keep potatoes warm after baking, wrap in foil and a towel.
