Preheat Oven:
Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C). -
Prep Potatoes:
Wash and dry potatoes well. Prick each potato several times with a fork to allow steam to escape. -
Oil & Salt:
Rub each potato all over with a little olive oil, then sprinkle generously with salt. This helps make the skin crispy and flavorful. -
Bake:
Place potatoes directly on the oven rack or on a baking sheet. Bake for about 60–75 minutes until the skins are crisp and a fork or skewer slides in easily. -
