Butterfinger Caramel Crunch Bars are a decadent dessert packed with layers of buttery caramel, crunchy Butterfinger candy bits, and a chocolatey topping. These bars are a perfect blend of sweet, crunchy, and chewy textures—ideal for any caramel and chocolate lover!

Butterfinger Caramel Crunch Bars Recipe

Ingredients:

For the Crust:

  • 1 ½ cups graham cracker crumbs
  • ½ cup unsalted butter (melted)
  • ¼ cup granulated sugar

For the Caramel Layer:

  • 1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk
  • ½ cup unsalted butter
  • ½ cup light brown sugar (packed)
  • ¼ cup light corn syrup
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

For the Crunch Layer:

  • 1 ½ cups Butterfinger candy bars (crushed into small pieces)

For the Chocolate Topping:

  • 1 ½ cups semisweet chocolate chips
  • 1 tbsp unsalted butter

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the Oven:
    Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and line a 9×9-inch baking pan with parchment paper, leaving an overhang for easy removal.
  2. Make the Crust:
    In a medium bowl, combine the graham cracker crumbs, melted butter, and granulated sugar. Mix until the crumbs are evenly coated with butter. Press the mixture firmly into the bottom of the prepared pan to form an even crust. Bake for 8-10 minutes until lightly golden. Let it cool while you prepare the caramel layer.
  3. Prepare the Caramel Layer:
    In a medium saucepan over medium heat, combine the sweetened condensed milk, butter, brown sugar, corn syrup, and salt. Stir continuously until the butter melts and the mixture thickens into a golden caramel, about 8-10 minutes. Remove from heat and stir in the vanilla extract.
  4. Add the Caramel and Crunch Layers:
    Pour the caramel evenly over the graham cracker crust and spread it with a spatula. Immediately sprinkle the crushed Butterfinger pieces over the top of the caramel layer, pressing them gently into the caramel.
  5. Make the Chocolate Topping:
    In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the chocolate chips and butter in 30-second intervals, stirring between each until smooth. Pour the melted chocolate over the Butterfinger caramel layer, spreading it evenly to cover the bars.
  6. Chill and Set:
    Refrigerate the bars for at least 2 hours, or until the chocolate is firm and the bars are fully set.
  7. Slice and Serve:
    Once set, lift the bars out of the pan using the parchment overhang and place them on a cutting board. Slice into squares or bars, and serve!
