Cajun shrimp and steak alfredo is a rich and flavorful dish that combines the bold flavors of Cajun seasoning with succulent shrimp, tender steak, and creamy Alfredo sauce. Here’s a recipe for you to enjoy:

Cajun Shrimp and Steak Alfredo:

Ingredients:

For the Cajun Shrimp and Steak:

  • 1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 pound sirloin or ribeye steak, thinly sliced
  • 2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

For the Alfredo Sauce:

  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg (optional)

For the Pasta:

  • 1 pound fettuccine or your favorite pasta, cooked according to package instructions

Instructions:

1. Prepare the Cajun Shrimp and Steak:

  1. In a bowl, toss the shrimp and sliced steak with Cajun seasoning, olive oil, minced garlic, salt, and black pepper. Let it marinate for at least 15-30 minutes.
  2. In a large skillet over medium-high heat, cook the shrimp and steak until they are cooked through and have a nice sear. This usually takes 2-3 minutes per side for the shrimp and 4-5 minutes for the steak.
  3. Remove the shrimp and steak from the skillet and set aside.

2. Make the Alfredo Sauce:

  1. In the same skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add heavy cream and bring it to a gentle simmer.
  2. Stir in grated Parmesan cheese until it’s fully melted and the sauce is smooth.
  3. Season the Alfredo sauce with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and nutmeg. Adjust the seasoning to your liking.

3. Assemble the Dish:

  1. Add the cooked shrimp and steak back into the skillet with the Alfredo sauce. Allow them to heat through for a couple of minutes.
  2. Toss the cooked pasta into the skillet, ensuring it’s well-coated with the sauce.
  3. Garnish with chopped fresh parsley.
  4. Serve the Cajun shrimp and steak Alfredo hot, and enjoy your flavorful and indulgent meal!

This dish is a delightful combination of creamy Alfredo sauce, Cajun-spiced shrimp and steak, and perfectly cooked pasta. Feel free to adjust the spice level according to your preference and savor the rich flavors of this Cajun-inspired creation.
