Here’s a crave-worthy recipe for Cheesy Pepperoni Pizza Tacos — the perfect mashup of tacos and pizza! These are packed with seasoned beef, melty mozzarella, and crispy pepperoni, all wrapped in a golden, crispy taco shell.

📝 Ingredients:

For the Taco Shells:
  • 6 small flour tortillas (street taco size works great)

  • 1 tbsp olive oil or butter (for pan-frying)

For the Filling:
  • 1/2 lb ground beef

  • 1/2 tsp salt

  • 1/4 tsp black pepper

  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder

  • 1/2 tsp onion powder

  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning

  • 1/4 tsp crushed red pepper flakes (optional)

  • 1/2 cup pizza sauce or marinara

  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

  • 18–24 mini pepperoni slices (or regular sliced in half)

Optional Toppings:
  • Fresh basil or parsley

  • Extra pizza sauce for dipping

  • Grated Parmesan

  • Sliced olives or banana peppers


👩‍🍳 Instructions:

1. Cook the Beef:
  1. In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned. Drain excess grease.

  2. Add salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, Italian seasoning, and red pepper flakes.

  3. Stir in 1/2 cup pizza sauce and simmer for 2–3 minutes until thickened slightly. Set aside.

2. Assemble the Tacos:
  1. Lay out the tortillas. Sprinkle a little mozzarella on one half of each tortilla.

  2. Add a spoonful of the seasoned beef on top of the cheese.

  3. Top with more mozzarella and 3–4 pepperoni slices.

  4. Fold the tortilla in half to form a taco.

3. Crisp the Tacos:
  1. Heat a skillet over medium heat and add a bit of oil or butter.

  2. Cook the tacos 2–3 at a time, pressing gently with a spatula. Cook for 2–3 minutes per side or until golden brown and the cheese is melted.

  3. Transfer to a paper towel–lined plate.

4. Serve:
  • Serve hot with warm pizza sauce for dipping.

  • Sprinkle with chopped herbs, Parmesan, or more pepperoni if you want to go all out.

  • Add sautéed onions, bell peppers, or mushrooms for a supreme version.

  • Swap in spicy Italian sausage instead of beef for extra flavor.

  • Use store-bought pizza dough rounds or flatbread if you want a crunchier shell.
