Cheesy Spinach-Artichoke Bagels

Cheesy Spinach-Artichoke Bagels are an incredible idea — basically your favorite creamy spinach-artichoke dip baked right onto a toasted bagel. Think of it as a savory, melty, indulgent open-faced sandwich that’s perfect for brunch, lunch, or even game day snacks.


🥯 Cheesy Spinach-Artichoke Bagels

🧾 Ingredients

  • 2–3 bagels, halved (plain, everything, or garlic work best)

  • 1/2 cup chopped spinach (fresh sautéed or frozen, thawed & drained)

  • 1/2 cup chopped artichoke hearts (canned or frozen, drained)

  • 4 oz cream cheese, softened

  • 1/4 cup sour cream or Greek yogurt

  • 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella

  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder

  • Salt & pepper to taste

  • Optional: crushed red pepper flakes or hot sauce for a little kick


🍽️ Instructions

  1. Preheat Oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

  2. Make the Dip Topping:

    • In a bowl, mix:

      • Cream cheese

      • Sour cream or yogurt

      • Mozzarella

      • Parmesan

      • Garlic powder

      • Spinach & artichokes

    • Add salt, pepper, and optional red pepper flakes or hot sauce.

  3. Prep Bagels:

    • Slice bagels in half and place cut-side up on the baking sheet.

    • Toast lightly in the oven for 3–5 minutes if you like them crispier.

  4. Assemble:

    • Spread the spinach-artichoke mixture generously over each bagel half.

    • Top with a little extra mozzarella or Parmesan if desired.

  5. Bake:

    • Bake for 10–12 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.

  6. Finish & Serve:

    • Optionally broil for 1–2 minutes for a golden top.

    • Let cool slightly and enjoy warm!


🔁 Variations

  • Add cooked bacon or shredded chicken for protein.

  • Use mini bagels for party-friendly bites.

  • Swap bagels for English muffins or naan if you’re out.
