Here’s a delicious and easy recipe for Cream Cheese Delight—a creamy, sweet, and slightly tangy dessert that’s perfect for any occasion. This dessert typically involves a crust, a creamy filling, and a flavorful topping.

Ingredients:

For the Crust:

  • 1½ cups graham cracker crumbs
  • ½ cup butter, melted
  • 2 tbsp sugar

For the Cream Cheese Layer:

  • 2 (8 oz) packages cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream (or whipped topping)

For the Topping:

  • 1 can (21 oz) cherry pie filling, or any fruit topping of your choice (blueberry, strawberry, etc.)

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Crust:
    • In a medium bowl, combine the graham cracker crumbs, melted butter, and sugar. Stir until well combined.
    • Press the mixture into the bottom of a 9×13-inch baking dish to form an even crust.
    • Refrigerate the crust for 10-15 minutes to firm up.
  2. Make the Cream Cheese Layer:
    • In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese with powdered sugar and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy.
    • In a separate bowl, whip the heavy cream until stiff peaks form (or use whipped topping for convenience).
    • Gently fold the whipped cream into the cream cheese mixture until well combined.
  3. Assemble the Layers:
    • Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly over the chilled graham cracker crust.
    • Refrigerate for at least 2 hours to set.
  4. Add the Topping:
    • Once the cream cheese layer is set, spread the fruit pie filling of your choice evenly over the top.
  5. Serve:
    • Chill until ready to serve. Slice and enjoy your creamy, fruity Cream Cheese Delight!
