Crispy cheeseburger wrap

Posted on February 23, 2024
To make a crispy cheeseburger wrap, you’ll combine the flavors of a classic cheeseburger with the convenience and portability of a wrap. Here’s a simple recipe to guide you through:

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 lb ground beef
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon paprika
  • 4 large flour tortillas
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup shredded lettuce
  • 1 large tomato, sliced
  • 1/4 cup diced onions
  • 1/4 cup diced pickles
  • Ketchup, mustard, and mayonnaise, to taste
  • Olive oil or cooking spray

Instructions:

  1. In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned and no longer pink, breaking it up with a spatula as it cooks. Season with salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and paprika. Drain excess fat and set aside.
  2. Warm the tortillas in a dry skillet or microwave for a few seconds to make them pliable.
  3. Divide the cooked ground beef evenly among the tortillas, spreading it out in the center of each tortilla.
  4. Top the ground beef with shredded cheddar cheese, lettuce, tomato slices, diced onions, and diced pickles.
  5. Drizzle ketchup, mustard, and mayonnaise over the toppings, according to your preference.
  6. Fold the sides of each tortilla over the filling, then roll it up tightly to form a wrap.
  7. Heat a skillet over medium heat and lightly brush it with olive oil or coat it with cooking spray.
  8. Place the wraps seam side down in the skillet and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and crispy.
  9. Remove the wraps from the skillet and let them cool for a minute before slicing in half diagonally.
  10. Serve the crispy cheeseburger wraps immediately with additional ketchup, mustard, or your favorite dipping sauce on the side.

Enjoy the delicious flavors and textures of these crispy cheeseburger wraps, perfect for a quick lunch or dinner! Feel free to customize the fillings based on your preferences.
