Crock Pot Ranch Chicken Sandwiches

Crock Pot Ranch Chicken Sandwiches are super easy to make and perfect for a comforting, flavorful meal. Here’s a simple recipe for you to try:

Ingredients:

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 packet of ranch seasoning mix (usually 1 ounce)
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) of cream of chicken soup
  • 1/2 cup of chicken broth or water
  • 8 sandwich buns (preferably soft, like brioche or potato buns)
  • Optional: sliced cheese (cheddar or provolone works well)
  • Optional: shredded lettuce, tomato slices, pickles, or any other toppings you like

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Chicken:

    • Place the chicken breasts in the Crock Pot (slow cooker).
  2. Make the Sauce:

    • In a separate bowl, combine the ranch seasoning mix, cream of chicken soup, and chicken broth (or water). Stir until everything is well combined.
  3. Cook:

    • Pour the ranch sauce mixture over the chicken in the Crock Pot.
    • Cover and cook on low for about 6 hours or on high for about 3 hours, or until the chicken is fully cooked and shreds easily with a fork.
  4. Shred the Chicken:

    • Once the chicken is cooked, use two forks to shred the chicken directly in the Crock Pot. Stir everything to coat the shredded chicken in the sauce.
  5. Assemble the Sandwiches:

    • Toast the sandwich buns if you prefer them crispy.
    • Spoon the shredded ranch chicken mixture onto the bottom half of each bun.
    • Optionally, top with a slice of cheese and allow it to melt if you want a cheesy version.
    • Add any extra toppings like lettuce, tomato, and pickles, if desired.
    • Place the top of the bun on and serve.

Tips:

  • Add some heat: If you like a little spice, you can add some hot sauce or diced jalapeƱos to the mixture.
  • Make it a meal: Serve the sandwiches with a side of fries, coleslaw, or chips for a full meal.
