Crockpot Christmas Crack

Posted on November 3, 2023

Crockpot Christmas Crack is a delightful and addictive holiday treat that’s easy to make in your slow cooker. It typically features a combination of chocolate, caramel, and your choice of crunchy or salty ingredients. Here’s a basic recipe to get you started:

Ingredients:

  • 1 pound of white almond bark or white chocolate
  • 1 cup of semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 cup of milk chocolate chips
  • 1 cup of creamy peanut butter
  • 1 cup of dry roasted peanuts (or your choice of nuts)
  • 2 cups of mini pretzels, broken into pieces
  • 1 cup of M&M’s, crushed candy canes, or holiday sprinkles (for decoration, optional)

Instructions:

  1. Start by turning your crockpot on to the lowest setting (usually “Warm” or “Low”).
  2. Add the white almond bark or white chocolate to the crockpot. Cover with the lid and allow it to melt. Stir occasionally to ensure it melts evenly.
  3. Once the white chocolate is fully melted, add the semi-sweet and milk chocolate chips. Continue to stir until all the chocolate is melted and smooth.
  4. Stir in the creamy peanut butter until it’s fully incorporated into the chocolate mixture.
  5. Add the dry roasted peanuts and broken pretzels to the crockpot. Gently fold them into the chocolate mixture, making sure they are well coated.
  6. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or wax paper.
  7. Pour the mixture onto the lined baking sheet and spread it out evenly to your desired thickness.
  8. If you like, you can sprinkle crushed candy canes, M&M’s, or holiday sprinkles on top for a festive touch.
  9. Allow the mixture to cool and harden at room temperature. This may take a couple of hours.
  10. Once the Christmas Crack has hardened, break it into pieces or cut it into squares.
  11. Store your Crockpot Christmas Crack in an airtight container, and enjoy the sweet and salty goodness during the holiday season.

This recipe is highly customizable, so feel free to add your favorite holiday treats and decorations to make it even more festive. It’s a perfect gift for family and friends or a sweet addition to your holiday dessert table.
