Easy ravioli casserole recipe

Here’s a simple and delicious recipe for an easy ravioli casserole:Ingredients:

  • 1 package (25-30 oz) frozen cheese ravioli
  • 1 jar (24-26 oz) marinara sauce
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Fresh basil or parsley, chopped (for garnish, optional)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish with cooking spray or butter.
  2. Cook the frozen cheese ravioli according to the package instructions until they are al dente. Drain the cooked ravioli and set aside.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked ravioli and marinara sauce. Toss until the ravioli are evenly coated with the sauce.
  4. Spread half of the sauced ravioli in an even layer on the bottom of the prepared baking dish.
  5. Sprinkle half of the shredded mozzarella cheese and half of the grated Parmesan cheese over the layer of ravioli.
  6. Repeat the layers with the remaining sauced ravioli and cheeses.
  7. Sprinkle the Italian seasoning evenly over the top of the casserole.
  8. Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil and bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  9. Remove the foil from the baking dish and bake for an additional 5-10 minutes, or until the cheese is golden brown and bubbly.
  10. Remove the ravioli casserole from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
  11. Garnish with chopped fresh basil or parsley, if desired.
  12. Serve the easy ravioli casserole hot as a comforting and satisfying meal.
