Posted on February 23, 2024
Garlic Parmesan broccoli is a simple yet delicious side dish that complements many meals. Here’s a recipe to make it:

Ingredients:

  • 1 large head of broccoli, cut into florets
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Lemon wedges, for serving (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, toss the broccoli florets with olive oil until evenly coated.
  3. Spread the broccoli florets in a single layer on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper or aluminum foil.
  4. Sprinkle the minced garlic evenly over the broccoli florets.
  5. Season the broccoli with salt and pepper to taste.
  6. Roast the broccoli in the preheated oven for about 15-20 minutes, or until the edges are crispy and the broccoli is tender.
  7. Remove the broccoli from the oven and sprinkle the grated Parmesan cheese over the top while it’s still hot.
  8. Toss the broccoli gently to evenly distribute the Parmesan cheese.
  9. Transfer the garlic Parmesan broccoli to a serving dish and serve hot.
  10. Optionally, squeeze fresh lemon juice over the broccoli just before serving for a bright and tangy flavor.

Enjoy your garlic Parmesan broccoli as a tasty and nutritious side dish with your favorite main courses! It’s perfect for adding a burst of flavor and color to any meal.
