Honey Garlic Pork Chops

Honey garlic pork chops are a delicious and flavorful dish that combines the sweetness of honey with the savory taste of garlic. Here’s a simple recipe for honey garlic pork chops:Ingredients:

  • 4 boneless pork chops
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce (or tamari for a gluten-free option)
  • 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme (optional)
  • Chopped fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions:

  1. Pat dry the pork chops with paper towels and season both sides with salt and pepper.
  2. In a skillet or frying pan, heat olive oil over medium-high heat.
  3. Add the pork chops to the skillet and cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side until they are browned and cooked through. The internal temperature should reach 145°F (63°C). Remove the pork chops from the skillet and set them aside.
  4. In the same skillet, reduce the heat to medium. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant, being careful not to burn it.
  5. Stir in the honey, soy sauce, apple cider vinegar, and dried thyme (if using). Mix everything together and let it simmer for a couple of minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.
  6. Return the cooked pork chops to the skillet, coating them with the honey garlic sauce. Cook for an additional 1-2 minutes, turning the pork chops to coat them evenly with the sauce.
  7. Once done, remove the pork chops from the skillet and transfer them to a serving plate.
  8. Spoon the remaining honey garlic sauce over the pork chops.
  9. Garnish with chopped fresh parsley before serving.

These honey garlic pork chops are tender, flavorful, and perfect for a quick and delicious meal. Serve them with rice, mashed potatoes, or your favorite vegetables for a complete dinner!
