Loaded Bacon Cheeseburger Pasta

Here’s a recipe for Loaded Bacon Cheeseburger Pasta that combines the flavors of a juicy cheeseburger with creamy, cheesy pasta:

Ingredients:

  • 12 oz pasta (penne or rotini)
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 6 slices of bacon, chopped
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp ketchup
  • 1 tbsp mustard
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1½ cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • ½ cup cream cheese
  • 1 cup heavy cream or milk
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Green onions or parsley (optional, for garnish)
  • Diced pickles (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Cook the Pasta: Cook the pasta according to package directions. Drain and set aside.
  2. Cook the Bacon: In a large skillet, cook the chopped bacon over medium heat until crispy. Remove bacon with a slotted spoon and set aside, leaving some bacon grease in the skillet.
  3. Cook the Ground Beef: In the same skillet, add the ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it up as it cooks. Drain excess fat if necessary.
  4. Add Onion and Garlic: Add the chopped onion and garlic to the beef. Cook until the onion is soft and translucent, about 3-4 minutes.
  5. Season: Stir in the ketchup, mustard, and Worcestershire sauce. Mix well and cook for another minute.
  6. Prepare the Sauce: Lower the heat and add the cream cheese, heavy cream (or milk), and beef broth to the beef mixture. Stir until the cream cheese melts and the sauce is smooth.
  7. Add Cheese: Stir in the shredded cheddar cheese until melted and combined with the sauce.
  8. Combine Pasta: Add the cooked pasta and bacon to the skillet and toss everything together until well coated.
  9. Season and Serve: Season with salt and pepper to taste. Garnish with green onions, parsley, or diced pickles if desired.
