🔥 Louisiana Voodoo Fries (Wingstop-Style Copycat)

🕒 Prep Time: 10 min | Cook Time: 20–25 min | Serves: 2–4

🧾 Ingredients:

For the Fries:

  • 1 lb frozen French fries (crinkle or shoestring work well)

  • 1 tbsp Cajun seasoning (or Creole seasoning like Tony Chachere’s)

  • 1 tbsp olive oil (if baking or air frying)

For the Cheese Sauce:

  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

  • ½ cup heavy cream or whole milk

  • 1 tbsp butter

  • 1 tsp garlic powder

  • Salt to taste

For the Spicy Ranch:

  • ¼ cup ranch dressing

  • 1–2 tsp hot sauce (like Louisiana hot sauce or Frank’s)

  • Optional: pinch of cayenne for more heat

Toppings:

  • ¼ cup cooked bacon, crumbled

  • Pickled jalapeño slices

  • Chopped green onions or parsley (optional)

👩‍🍳 Instructions:

1. Cook the fries:

  • Bake or air fry your fries according to package directions until golden and crispy.

  • Toss hot fries with Cajun seasoning and a drizzle of olive oil for flavor.

2. Make the cheese sauce:

  • In a small saucepan over low heat, melt butter and add cream.

  • Stir in shredded cheese a handful at a time until smooth and creamy.

  • Add garlic powder and a pinch of salt. Keep warm.

3. Make spicy ranch:

  • Mix ranch dressing with hot sauce and cayenne. Chill until ready to use.

4. Assemble the voodoo fries:

  • Place hot fries on a serving tray or plate.

  • Drizzle generously with cheese sauce and spicy ranch.

  • Top with bacon, jalapeños, and optional green onions.

✅ Tips:

  • Want to go big? Add pulled chicken or shrimp on top for a full meal.

  • Prefer homemade fries? Slice russets, soak in water, then bake or fry for extra crispiness.

  • For more smoky depth, add a touch of smoked paprika to the cheese sauce.
