The “Melt in Your Mouth” chicken recipe is often a delightful combination of tender, juicy chicken with a flavorful coating that lives up to its name. Here’s a simple and delicious version:

Melt in Your Mouth Chicken

Ingredients:

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Breadcrumbs (optional for extra crispiness)
  • Chopped parsley or green onions for garnish (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat Oven:
    • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a baking dish lightly.
  2. Prepare the Chicken:
    • Pat the chicken breasts dry with paper towels. Season them with salt and pepper on both sides.
  3. Mix Coating:
    • In a bowl, combine mayonnaise, grated Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, and a pinch of salt and pepper. Mix until well combined.
  4. Coat the Chicken:
    • Coat each chicken breast thoroughly with the mayonnaise mixture. Ensure they are evenly coated on all sides.
  5. Bake:
    • Place the coated chicken breasts in the prepared baking dish.
    • If using breadcrumbs for added crispiness, sprinkle them over the coated chicken breasts.
    • Bake in the preheated oven for approximately 25-30 minutes or until the chicken is cooked through and reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).
  6. Garnish and Serve:
    • Once done, remove from the oven and let the chicken rest for a couple of minutes.
    • Garnish with chopped parsley or green onions if desired, then serve.

This dish yields tender and flavorful chicken with a deliciously savory coating that truly does “melt in your mouth.” Adjust the seasoning and spice levels according to your taste preferences. It pairs well with various sides like roasted vegetables, mashed potatoes, or a fresh salad.
