Pecan Pie Crescents

Here’s a sweet and simple recipe for Pecan Pie Crescents — all the rich, gooey goodness of pecan pie wrapped in flaky crescent roll dough. These are perfect for holidays, potlucks, or just a quick dessert craving.


🥐 Pecan Pie Crescents

📝 Ingredients:

  • 1 can (8 oz) refrigerated crescent roll dough

  • ⅓ cup chopped pecans

  • ¼ cup brown sugar (light or dark)

  • 2 tbsp corn syrup (light or dark)

  • 1 tbsp unsalted butter, melted

  • ½ tsp vanilla extract

  • Pinch of salt

  • ½ tsp ground cinnamon (optional)

  • Powdered sugar (optional, for dusting)


🔪 Instructions:

1. Preheat Oven:

  • Preheat to 375°F (190°C).

  • Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone baking mat.

2. Make the Filling:

  • In a small bowl, mix together:

    • Chopped pecans

    • Brown sugar

    • Corn syrup

    • Melted butter

    • Vanilla extract

    • Salt and cinnamon (if using)

3. Prepare the Dough:

  • Unroll crescent dough and separate into 8 triangles.

  • Spoon about 1 heaping teaspoon of pecan filling onto the wide end of each triangle.

4. Roll & Seal:

  • Carefully roll up each crescent from the wide end to the point.

  • Press edges slightly to prevent too much filling from leaking during baking.

  • Optional: Brush the tops with a little extra melted butter.

5. Bake:

  • Bake for 10–12 minutes, or until golden brown and slightly caramelized.

6. Cool & Serve:

  • Let cool for a few minutes before serving.

  • Optional: Dust with powdered sugar or drizzle with extra caramel sauce.
