Salmon and pork chops are two distinct proteins, and combining them in a dish can create a flavorful and satisfying meal. Here’s a recipe for a dish that includes both salmon and pork chops, served with a tasty sauce:Salmon and Pork Chops with Lemon Herb Sauce:

Ingredients:

For the Salmon and Pork Chops:

  • 2 salmon fillets
  • 2 bone-in pork chops
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme (or your preferred herb)
  • Lemon wedges for serving

For the Lemon Herb Sauce:

  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Zest and juice of 1 lemon
  • 1 tablespoon fresh chopped herbs (e.g., parsley, chives, or dill)
  • Salt and black pepper to taste

Instructions:

For the Salmon and Pork Chops:

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Season both sides of the salmon fillets and pork chops with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, paprika, and dried thyme (or your preferred herbs).
  3. In a large ovenproof skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat.
  4. Add the pork chops to the skillet and sear them for about 3-4 minutes per side, until they’re nicely browned. Remove the pork chops and set them aside.
  5. In the same skillet, add the salmon fillets and sear for about 2-3 minutes per side until they have a golden crust.
  6. Place the skillet in the preheated oven and roast for about 10-15 minutes or until the pork chops are cooked to your desired doneness (internal temperature of 145°F or 63°C for pork) and the salmon is flaky.

For the Lemon Herb Sauce:

  1. While the meat is roasting, prepare the sauce. In a separate saucepan, melt the unsalted butter over medium heat.
  2. Add the minced garlic and cook for about 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  3. Stir in the lemon zest, lemon juice, and fresh chopped herbs.
  4. Season the sauce with salt and black pepper to taste.

To Serve:

  1. Once the meat is done, drizzle the lemon herb sauce over the salmon and pork chops.
  2. Serve with lemon wedges on the side for an extra burst of citrus flavor.
  3. Enjoy your salmon and pork chop dish with a delicious lemon herb sauce.

This combination of flavors, textures, and proteins creates a unique and delicious meal.
