Sausage Biscuit Bites are a savory, bite-sized snack or breakfast option made by wrapping sausage (sometimes with cheese or eggs) in biscuit dough and baking until golden brown. They’re great for meal prep, parties, or on-the-go breakfasts.

Here’s a basic recipe to get you started:


🧀 Sausage Biscuit Bites Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 1 can of refrigerated biscuit dough (like Pillsbury Grands or similar)

  • 1/2 lb breakfast sausage (pork, turkey, or plant-based)

  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese (optional)

  • 2 eggs, scrambled (optional for a fuller breakfast version)

  • Salt & pepper to taste

  • Cooking spray or a bit of melted butter (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease a mini muffin pan or line it with paper liners.

  2. Cook the sausage in a skillet over medium heat until browned. Drain excess fat. Add scrambled eggs now if using.

  3. Cut each biscuit in half (or quarters if large). Flatten each piece into a small circle with your fingers.

  4. Fill with sausage mixture: Place a small spoonful of sausage (and cheese/eggs if using) in the center of each dough round.

  5. Seal and shape: Fold dough around the filling, pinch edges to seal, and roll into a ball.

  6. Place in muffin tin, seam side down. Optionally brush with melted butter.

  7. Bake for 12–15 minutes or until golden brown.

  8. Cool slightly and serve. Best warm!


🔁 Make Ahead Tips:

  • Freeze before baking: Assemble, flash-freeze, and store in a bag. Bake directly from frozen (add ~5 mins baking time).

  • Reheat in the microwave (15–30 sec) or toaster oven.
