Savory Dijon Pork Tenderloin recipe

Posted on April 30, 2025
Here’s a flavorful and elegant Savory Dijon Pork Tenderloin recipe—simple enough for weeknights but impressive enough for guests. The Dijon mustard adds tangy depth, while herbs and garlic bring out the natural richness of the pork. Roasted until juicy and tender, it pairs beautifully with vegetables, potatoes, or a crisp salad.

🐖 Savory Dijon Pork Tenderloin

🍽️ Servings: 4

⏱️ Time: 10 mins prep · 25–30 mins roast

🧾 Ingredients:

  • 1½ lbs pork tenderloin, trimmed

  • 2 tbsp Dijon mustard

  • 1 tbsp olive oil

  • 2 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1 tsp fresh rosemary or ½ tsp dried

  • 1 tsp fresh thyme or ½ tsp dried

  • 1 tsp salt

  • ½ tsp black pepper

  • Optional: 1 tbsp honey (for a touch of sweetness)

  • Optional: 1 tbsp balsamic vinegar (for extra depth)

🔪 Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with foil or parchment.

  2. In a small bowl, mix:

    • Dijon mustard

    • Olive oil

    • Garlic

    • Herbs

    • Salt and pepper

    • (Optional honey and balsamic)

  3. Rub the mixture evenly over the pork tenderloin.

  4. Place pork on the baking sheet. Roast for 25–30 minutes, or until internal temp reaches 145°F (63°C). For extra color, broil for the last 2–3 minutes.

  5. Rest the pork for 5–10 minutes before slicing.

🍽️ Serving Suggestions:

  • With roasted potatoes and green beans

  • Over a bed of wild rice or farro

  • Drizzle with pan juices or a light mustard cream sauce

Would you like a version cooked in a skillet or slow cooker instead?
