Here you go — a warm, gooey, golden cheesy garlic bread that’s crisp on the outside, soft in the middle, and loaded with buttery garlic and melty cheese. Perfect as a side for pasta, soup, or even just by itself!


🧄🧀 Cheesy Garlic Bread (Restaurant-Style)

🍞 What You’ll Need:

  • 1 loaf of French bread or Italian bread (12–16 inches long)

  • ½ cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, softened

  • 3–4 cloves garlic, minced (or 1½ tsp garlic paste)

  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley, finely chopped (or 1 tsp dried parsley)

  • ½ tsp salt

  • 1½ cups shredded mozzarella cheese

  • ¼ cup Parmesan cheese, grated

  • Optional: a pinch of red pepper flakes for heat


🔥 How to Make It:

1. Prep the Oven:

  • Preheat to 400°F (200°C).

  • Line a baking sheet with foil or parchment for easy cleanup.

2. Make Garlic Butter:

  • In a bowl, mix butter, garlic, salt, and parsley until smooth.

3. Prepare the Bread:

  • Slice the loaf in half lengthwise (like a sub roll).

  • Spread the garlic butter evenly over both cut sides.

  • Top with mozzarella, then sprinkle Parmesan on top.

4. Bake It:

  • Place bread halves on the baking sheet, buttered side up.

  • Bake for 10–12 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbling.

  • For extra browning, broil for 1–2 minutes, watching carefully.

5. Serve:

  • Slice into strips or wedges.

  • Serve hot with marinara sauce, ranch, or alongside your main dish.


🧑‍🍳 Tips & Variations:

  • Use cheddar, provolone, or fontina for a different flavor twist.

  • Add chopped green onions or a drizzle of olive oil for a more gourmet version.
