1 lb dry spaghetti noodles, broken in half
-
1½ cups shredded mozzarella cheese (optional)
-
½ cup grated Parmesan cheese (optional)

Chopped fresh parsley (for garnish)
Instructions:
-
Brown the meat:
In a skillet over medium heat, cook ground beef and onion until browned. Add garlic and sauté for 1 more minute. Drain excess fat. -
Transfer to slow cooker:
Add the cooked meat mixture to your slow cooker. Stir in spaghetti sauce, diced tomatoes, tomato paste, water/broth, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. -
Cook:

Add pasta:
About 30–40 minutes before serving, stir in dry spaghetti (make sure the noodles are submerged in sauce). Continue cooking on HIGH until noodles are tender. -
Add cheese (optional):
Sprinkle mozzarella and Parmesan over the top, cover, and cook for another 5–10 minutes until melted. -
Serve:
Garnish with fresh parsley. Serve with garlic bread and salad for a full meal.
✅ Tips:
-
Stir once or twice after adding pasta to prevent clumping.
-
You can substitute whole wheat or gluten-free pasta, adjusting the cooking time slightly.
-
For a vegetarian version, skip the meat and add mushrooms, zucchini, or lentils.
