Posted on April 6, 2024
Spicy maple salmon bites are a delicious and flavorful appetizer or snack that combines the sweetness of maple syrup with a kick of spice. Here’s a simple recipe to make these tasty bites:Ingredients:

  • 1 pound salmon fillet, skin removed
  • 2 tablespoons maple syrup
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sriracha sauce (adjust to taste for desired level of spiciness)
  • 1 teaspoon minced garlic
  • 1 teaspoon minced ginger
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • Chopped green onions, for garnish (optional)
  • Sesame seeds, for garnish (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it with cooking spray.
  2. Cut the salmon fillet into bite-sized pieces, about 1 inch cubes. Place the salmon pieces in a mixing bowl.
  3. In a small bowl, whisk together the maple syrup, soy sauce, sriracha sauce, minced garlic, minced ginger, olive oil, salt, and black pepper until well combined.
  4. Pour the marinade over the salmon pieces in the mixing bowl, tossing gently to coat each piece evenly. Let the salmon marinate for about 15-20 minutes to allow the flavors to infuse.
  5. Transfer the marinated salmon pieces to the prepared baking sheet, arranging them in a single layer.
  6. Bake the salmon bites in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.
  7. Remove the salmon bites from the oven and let them cool slightly before serving.
  8. Garnish the spicy maple salmon bites with chopped green onions and sesame seeds, if desired, before serving.
  9. Serve the salmon bites hot as a delicious appetizer or snack. You can also serve them over rice or salad for a light meal.

Enjoy these flavorful and spicy maple salmon bites, which are sure to be a hit at your next gathering or party! Adjust the amount of sriracha sauce to suit your taste preferences for spiciness.
