Here’s a Weight Watchers Cheddar Biscuits recipe that is lighter but still delicious, perfect for satisfying those cheesy biscuit cravings!

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup self-rising flour
  • 1 cup plain nonfat Greek yogurt
  • ½ cup reduced-fat sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1 tsp garlic powder (optional)
  • 1 tsp dried parsley (optional)
  • Cooking spray

Instructions:

  1. Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly spray it with cooking spray.
  2. Mix Dough: In a large bowl, combine the self-rising flour and plain nonfat Greek yogurt. Mix until a dough forms.
  3. Add Cheese and Seasonings: Fold in the shredded reduced-fat cheddar cheese, garlic powder, and dried parsley (if using) until evenly distributed.
  4. Shape Biscuits: Using a spoon, drop 8-10 biscuit dough balls onto the prepared baking sheet.
  5. Bake: Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the biscuits are golden brown and cooked through.
  6. Serve: Let the biscuits cool slightly before serving.
